Pastor Johnwesley Garu, the Founder of Jesus Christ Prayer Ministries, was born in a small village called Kotapalli into a Hindu family that strongly opposed Christianity.
His sister Jaya attended small prayer meetings in the village and experienced the power of God at a young age. Through her prayers, Pastor Johnwesley Garu accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior.
At the age of 20, he realized the true power of God and surrendered his life completely to Jesus Christ. Though he planned to study law, God had a different plan for his life.
At the time of his marriage, a senior pastor filled with the Holy Spirit prophesied over him saying:
“God is going to use you to change many lives. You will serve Him in the capital city of Andhra Pradesh.”
Without fully understanding God’s plan, Pastor Johnwesley Garu came to Hyderabad and began working a job. Suddenly, he heard the clear voice of God calling him to start a church.
With the help of a few brothers, he started the church in Rajiv Gruhakalpa Colony and named it:
The church began with only 7 members. Today, more than 250 members worship the Lord Jesus Christ at JCPM.
Many challenges came, and many tried to stop the prayers, but Pastor Johnwesley Garu never left the Word of God. The Lord protected the church and strengthened the ministry.
Pastor Johnwesley Garu left his job and fully dedicated his life to God’s service.
“As long as I live, I will never leave God.”
God continues to perform miracles through this ministry. All glory, honor, and praise belongs to God alone.
